Jim Reagan is Vice President, Product & Regulatory Compliance.

Jim joined Farmers of Salem in 1989 as a Personal Lines Underwriter. In 1991, he became Senior Personal Lines Underwriter before moving into Commercial Lines Underwriting. In 1997 Mr. Reagan was promoted to Underwriting Department Supervisor, he became Product Manager in 2001 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in late 2013, and then to his current position in March 2020. Jim is responsible for the development and execution of product strategy including the product vision, product roadmap, and requirements for success.

Jim works closely with MSO, Inc., the New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania Departments of Insurance on product filings as well as regulatory compliance items. In addition, he currently serves in the position of legislative liaison for the New Jersey Association of Mutual Insurance Companies.

Jim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and the Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations. He has served as President of the Brandywine Valley Chapter of the CPCU Society and has previously served on the planning committee for Philly I-Day, one of the region’s largest insurance and risk management education and networking events.
